Training aircraft catches fire at Ctg airport

A training aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force caught fire while landing at the Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong on Wednesday, UNB reported.
Additional deputy commissioner (Immigration) at the airport Mizanur Rahman told UNB that the training aircraft caught fire while landing at the airport at about 1:30 am.
He said the lone pilot of the aircraft, Abib, was safe as he jumped out of it with a parachute when it caught fire. He was then taken to hospital.
Later, Air Force staff rushed to the aircraft and put out the blaze.
