BSF hands minor boy over to BGB at Thakurgaon

The Indian Border Security Force handed a 12-year-old boy over, 2 hours after his detention at Thakurgaon border, to the Border Guard Bangladesh.
Md Wasim, son of Altaf Hossain of Geruadangi was apprehended by the BSF at around 11:00am today (Monday), a BGB official said.
The minor was caught by the members of 121 BSF Sripur camp while he was working on a farm owned by their family near demarcation pillar number MP 369/3-S. The farmland is located some 100 meters off the zero line.
Major Towhid Bin Ishaque, intelligence officer of 30 BGB Battalion of Thakurgaon told New Age that a company level flag meeting was held between the two border forces at about 1:00pm.
BSF, during the meeting, handed Wasim over to BGB, he said.
