Subhashree praises Mahi, Fariya
Indian actress Subhashree Ganguly has praised her Bangladeshi counterparts Mahiya Mahi and Nusrat Fariya, saying both of them had performed well in the India-Bangladesh joint-venture films those she watched.
Subhashree, who is visiting Dhaka for a promotional campaign of an India-Bangladesh co-production titled ‘Prem Ki Bujhini,’ in which she plays opposite Ohm, said she watched Mahi and Fariya’s performances in Romeo Versus Juliet and Ashiqui respectively.
She also mentioned her encounter with Shakib Khan in London.
‘I was in London shooting for Prem Ki Bujhini when I met Shakib, who was shooting for his film Shikari.
‘Later, I watched some YouTube clips on him. I should add here that I’m going to perform opposite him in another India-Bangladesh joint-venture film,’ she said.
She believes such films have made Bangladeshi actors and actresses popular on the Indian soil.
Angoori bhabhi’s English lessons for Sunny Leone
Popular TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai has just got a sizzling makeover. Well, almost. In a casting coup of sorts, Sunny Leone shared a glimpse of her ‘bhabhi’ avatar from the show on Monday and it is already a hit in the telly world.
Sunny is doing well for herself in Bollywood and has featured in reality TV shows like Bigg Boss and Splitsvilla. Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, however, will be her first fiction show on the small screen. She will play herself on the show.
In the promotional video of the show, Sunny invites fans to watch the serial between October 3 and October 7, when she will be a part and also says Angoori’s iconic dialogue ‘sahi pakde hain’. Sunny even gets a few English lessons from Shubhangi Atre, who plays the lead role of Angoori bhabhi. – Hindustan Times
