Tamim wins battle of PSL over Sakib

Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal won over his national team-mate Sakib al Hasan both in individual and team’s aspect as his team Peshwar Zalmi beat Sakib’s Karachi Kings by three runs in Pakistan Super League in Dubai on Thursday.
Tamim scored a crucial 37 off 35 balls and shared a 95-run opening stand with Mohammad Hafeez
(59) to help his side set 182-4 before their bowlers restricted the opponents for 179-9 to clinch a narrow victory.
Sakib flopped both in bowling and batting as he conceded 26 runs from two overs and was dismissed for just one run while chasing the score.
Tamim scored eight runs including a four of four deliveries from Sakib, who conceded two sixes and a four against Hafiz in a dismal spell.
