Cricket coach Ratan dies

Renowned cricket coach Abdul Hadi Ratan breathed his last on Wednesday early morning due to renal failure on his way to Dhaka from his home Pirojpur.
Ratan, who had served as a coach of the BCB’s Game Development Department from 2005 to 2014, felt seriously ill Tuesday evening at his village resident and died in the morning on the way to Dhaka.
Ratan, 62, left behind wife, two sons, two daughters and host of admirers to mourn his death.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board expressed their deep condolences at Ratan’s death.
