Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club president Manzur Kader resigned from the post on Saturday.
Kader sent a letter to prime minister Sheikh Hasina stating his personal and health problems as the cause behind the decision.
‘I have resigned as the club president for personal and health reasons.’ said Manzur Kader, who reformed Dhanmondi Club to Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club back in 2010.
Earlier on Wednesday, Kader gave Bangladesh Football Federation a 48-hour ultimatum to return them their previous players, who left the club after being announced as free agents by BFF, and threatened to boycott the AFC Cup final round.
