Jamal to get players on loan if they want

The Bangladesh Football Federation on Friday said it will ask other clubs to release their players for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club only if they want them on loan for next month’s AFC Cup.
Jamal threatened to pull out of the tournament as BFF made at least 11 players a free agent.
Mamunul Islam, Rayhan Hasan, Shahidul Alam Sohel, Sohel Rana, Alamgir Kabir, Yeasin Khan, Yeamin Munna, Jamal Bhuiyan, Nasir Uddin, Shakhwat Hossain and Monayem Khan played for Jamal in the previous season but opted out this time.
They are expected to sign for new clubs in the new transfer, which began on Thursday.
Jamal claimed that the players took advance payment from them and singed an informal contract but the players denied it.
‘We had earlier made the arrangement for the clubs to take part in the tournament in abroad,’ BFF senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy told reporters after an unscheduled meeting. ‘If they [Jamal] make an appeal, we will negotiate with others to release players on loan.’
Jamal have been drawn with Selangor of Malaysia and Philippines champions Ceres La Salle in Group E of the AFC Cup.
