3, including domestic help, killed, found dead

At least three people were killed or their bodies were found at separate places of the capital, Narsingdi and Shariatpur, respectively.
The police recovered the body of a housemaid hanging from a ceiling fan in a house on WAPDA road at Rampura in the capital on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Tania, 14, daughter of Babul Mia of Comilla. She worked at the house of one Kamal Hossain at 180, WAPDA Road, said Rampura police station sub-inspector, Amir Hossain.
The cause of her hanging could not be known. However, the house owner claimed that she committed suicide, the SI said.
New Age Narsingdi correspondent reported that a schoolboy was chopped to death by unidentified assailants at Bakharnagar village under Raipura upazila of the district on Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Tapas Biwshas, 15, son of Zahirul Haque Biwshas of the village. He was a ninth grader at Bakharnagar UP High School.
The officer-in-charge of Raipura police, Azharul Islam, said the boy was called out of home around 8:30pm on Thursday.
On Saturday morning, locals found his body on a nearby vegetable farm and informed it to his family members.
He was stabbed indiscriminately.
Police later recovered the body and sent it to district general hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A case was filed. None was arrested till Friday evening.
New Age correspondent in Shariatpur reported that the police recovered the body of a housewife on Friday, after 17 days into her missing.
The body of the victim, Sharmin Akter, 25, was secretly buried allegedly by her husband Billal Laskar of village Machuakhali in Goshairhat upazila.
The officer-in-charge of Goshairhat police, Mofazzal Hossain, said Sharmin had gone missing on January 5.
