Kidnapped boy rescued in Rajshahi, 6 held

Members of Rapid Action Battalion on Monday rescued a polytechnic student from a house at Katakhali area in Rajshahi who was abducted on Sunday.
The victim is identified as Anisur Rahman, student of Rajshahi Shah Makhdum Polytechnic Institute.
Police also arrested six members of kidnappers from the spot.
RAB officials said the kidnappers abducted Anisur on Sunday while he was returning to his house after attending a examination at the Polytechnic Institute.
The miscreants confined Anisur in a house at Katakhali and demanded Tk 80,000 form his family.
Later acting on tip off this early morning RAB officials conducted a drive at the area and rescued the boy and arrested the six kidnappers from the house.
The arrested abductors are identified as Latifa Begum, her daughter Lima, their accomplice Faysal, Mona, Badsha, Sohag and Liton.
They are an organised group who were involved with different kinds of cheatings for long.
