BSF kills Bangladeshi in Dinajpur

A Bangladeshi national was gunned down by members of Indian Border Security Force in Baragram border of Dinajpur early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Nuruzzaman,30, son of Shahidur Rahman, a resident of Barogram Chenpara of the upazila, reports United News of Bangladesh.
Witnesses said BSF members from Elondari camp in South Dijanpur of India opened fire on Nuruzzaman while he was entering the Indian territory at about 5:00am, leaving him seriously injured.
Later, he was rushed to a local hospital in India where he succumbed to his injures at about 7:00am.
Lieutenant Colonel Korban Ali, commanding officer of Dinajpur Phulbari Border 29 BGB Battalion, confirmed the incident.
