Ansar Al Islam claims killing, attack on publishers, bloggers

Ansar Al Islam claimed the responsibility of killing and attack on the publishers of slain writer Avijit Roy and others on Saturday.
The group tweeted claiming the responsibility of the killing and attack around 9:00pm.
Mufti Abdullah Ashraf, spokesperson of Ansar Al Islam which claimed to be the part of the Al Qaida Indian Subcontinent, also explained why the targeted attacks were carried out.
Unidentified attackers killed a publisher of slain writer Avijit Roy and hacked another one along with two other writers storming into the offices of the publishing houses at Shahbagh and Lalmatia in Dhaka on Saturday.
Faisal Arefin Dipan, publisher of Jagriti Prakashani, was hacked to death in his office on the second floor of Aziz Super Market in the afternoon, hours after the attack on another publisher of Avijit, Ahmedur Rashid Tutul, at Lalmatia.
