Poor law and order caused Tavella killing: Fakhrul

Bangladesh Nationalist Party acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday condemned the killing of Italian citizen Tavella Cesare saying such incidents are taking place due to deterioration of law and order situation in the country.
Fakhrul also condemned the government’s failure to this end while talking to the journalists at BNP central office in city’s Nayapaltan area.
After eight months the BNP leader came to the central office passing six months in jail and later staying abroad for his medical treatment.
He apprehended that such incidents like killing of Italian citizen are happening due to absence of democratic space in the country and vulnerable law and order situation.
He said that it is one of major tasks of the government to ensure security to the foreigners.
Fakhrul demanded immediate arrest the miscreants those are involved with the murder and their proper trial.
He asked the government to be more careful in providing security to the foreigners.
